It was reported that approximately 9% of transactions in the first quarter (read about Macomb and Oakland Counties' market reports) of the real estate market were short sales, and because of this large number, loan companies have made changes.

Both Fannie Mae (details here) and Freddie Mac have adopted new, quicker methods for processing short sales, and they have also added new resources that will be helpful in finding the value of your home.

The end goal of these companies is to create a short sale experience that is fast, transparent, stream-lined and stress-free. We at Lang Premier Properties also aim to create a similar short sale experience. We feel that a foreclosure doesn't have to be your only option, and we are here to guide you through your alternatives, including short sales.
